Uruguay Round Agreement on Agriculture

This Contract (hereinafter “the Agreement”) is entered into on this day by and between the Parties as stipulated below. The Parties, acknowledging Uruguay Round Agreement on Agriculture, hereby agree terms conditions set forth herein.

Article I – Definitions
1. For the purposes of this Agreement, “agricultural products” shall refer to the products listed in Annex 1 of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT).
2. “Market access” shall mean the reduction in trade barriers and tariffs in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement.
3. “Subsidies” shall refer to the financial assistance provided by a government to domestic agricultural producers, as outlined in Article 6 of the Agreement.
Article II – Market Access
1. The Parties shall adhere to the market access commitments as stipulated in their schedules of concessions, subject to the provisions of the Agreement.
